In addition to the above classification, the packaging machine is mainly classified according to the packaging function of the machine, sometimes according to the degree of automation or application scope. For example, a machine that only packages products of specific shapes, specifications and sizes is called a special packaging machine; a machine that automatically completes feeding, packaging and output of finished products is called an automatic packaging machine.
